QUICKBLOOM

Features

Composition of minerals in soil plays a vital role in aqua culture industry. The problem of imbalance in soil nutrition status is severe in case of shrimp culture as most of the culture ponds are situated along the sea shore areas. In these soils Organic carbon levels are very low and most of major (N, P, K), secondary (Mg, S, Ca) and Micronutrients (Zn, Fe, Cu, Bo, Mo) and other trace minerals are in non-available forms.

The present day shrimp culture is mainly based on supplementary feeding. But suitable ecosystem is also needed to provide the shrimps favorable water parameters for achieving high growth and good FCR. The role of diatoms and other zooplanktons is important in achieving sustainable yields in Vennami culture. The requirement of secondary, micro and trace minerals is high for the intensive culture of shrimp.
